Marketing for Small High Tech Firms
Most Entrepreneurs/Founders of advance technology firms are not averse to learning a new area if it helps them with their business. But they are pragmatic. They want to know and understand what works since their resources are limited. There are so many business books with little real content that take 300 or more pages to make only several good points. There are even fewer that address entrepreneurship in sufficient depth to be useful.
Frustrated with popular publications on marketing that were too simple, pedantic, or simply irrelevant to high tech, and an entrepreneur myself, I decided to compose relevant material that will act as a starting point for new entrepreneurs. It is to-the-point with a market first and customer driven emphasis, and includes strategies aimed at the start-up/small seeking external funding.

University of California Matching Grants Program
Founded in 1996, the Industry-University Cooperative Research Program(IUCRP)
comprises seven Sector Grant Programs dedicated to funding research that strengthens and expands California's economy. Forming a 3-way partnership between UC, Industry Sponsors, and the State of California, the IUCRP provides hundreds of matching grants each year in six highly promising fields of research.
